The RAR Group has succeeded over the years in achieving a balance between growth, profitability and sustainable development.

Headed by the holding company RAR – Sociedade de Controle (Holding), SA, the Group currently consists of a diversified portfolio of businesses, divided into five areas – Food, Packaging, Real Estate, Services and Tourism.

Our ambition to improve the competitive positions of the Group’s businesses as well as the systematic search for innovative value creation solutions, allow us to view future challenges with prudent optimism, notwithstanding the fact that we are navigating very turbulent waters that will be difficult to forecast within a scenario of world crisis.

We expect to see in 2010 the beginning of the reversal of this negative cycle, allowing us star developing some of the opportunities that we have sown, centred mainly on new markets and in areas adjacent to those in which we operate. The rationalisation work done in our various businesses has left us with a more robust foundation and better prepared to face future challenges.
